      MILLINOCKET – After nine years of serving on Millinocket’s Town Council, Matthew Polstein has decided not to run for re-election when his term expires in November. Town officials attentive to energy savings

      EAST MILLINOCKET – The Board of Selectmen on Monday agreed with Administrative Assistant Shirley Tapley’s recommendation to contract the services of Dirigo Engineering of Fairfield to conduct an energy audit of the Municipal Building. According to Tapley, the consulting firm would need “a day or day in a half” to complete the audit, at a cost of about $2,000. The money will come out of the building’s renovation account.
